NJ sues mattress giant, alleging fraud [Long Island, NY]

NEWARK, N.J. -- The state Division of Consumer Affairs sued one of the nation's leading mattress sellers on Monday, saying the heavily advertised company sold defective merchandise and failed to deliver when promised.

The suit, filed in Superior Court in Bergen County, names Sleepy's Inc. and 1-800-Sleepy's. It alleges violations of New Jersey's Consumer Fraud Act.
